Cuyahoga Community College (Tri-C ®) Metropolitan and Eastern Campus Theatre Departments will present “The Laramie Project,” a compelling play about life in a small town after the horrific murder of a gay University of Wyoming student. In October 1998, 21-year-old Matthew Shepard was kidnapped, severely beaten and left to die, tied to a fence in the middle of a prairie outside of Laramie, Wyo. “The Laramie Project” is one of the most performed plays in America today.
